We are coming to you. S & J's Woodfired Pizza was accepted this week to the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival in Atlanta GA on August 28-29. This is a huge event. The expected attendance is 25,000 people. I can’t imagine a better way to break out S & J's Woodfired Pizza than to 25,000 hungry people on a hot day in Atlanta GA.
Planning has already started on how we are gonna be able to do the event. How many dough balls to bring? How much cheese, etc…? We are just so thrilled to be accepted and can’t wait to get off the ground. We are now 4 for 4 in applying and being accepted to festivals in GA. It seems as though maybe we are not the only ones who think this is a good idea since event coordinators accept us and want to check us out. The Summer Shade Festival will be our first public appearance but we will also be throwing a kick off party a week or so earlier in an attempt to work out any kinks and also give the people what they want.
