In a poignant display of unity, Atlanta has rallied together to tackle the pandemic crisis of our time. While the necessary safety measures encouraged by health officials, have altered the way people connect, shop, and eat, we are committed to supporting our purveyors and the local economic health through this outstanding struggle.

Amidst global scarcity, the fields and walk-in coolers of farms across the world tell a different story. Farmers have not paused their work and neither have we – Our mission is to foster the connection between our consumers and seasonally farmed food with regard to the safest customer experience. We have subsequently partnered with artisan vendors and farmers in order to offer a family-style ‘Ready-to-Heat’ meal delivery service for those unable to access the food they need.

Our menu items are comprised of the season’s freshest faire – always organic, pasture-raised, grass-fed, local ingredients, sourced directly from our farms.

Please contact us at info@sjpizza.com for orders – or – custom requests.

(COVID-19) Public Health Response

March 20, 2020 By Ioana Sommers

In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) public health concern reaching pandemic proportions, we are taking the necessary precautions to keep our guests safe – as we strive to serve the needs of our community. While the core concept of isolating incidents is social distancing, we understand that certain situations may continue to require catered food.

As part of our pandemic preparedness plan and to control individual risk, our goal is to limit guest interaction as it pertains to dining and offer additional service members to administer single use items and food.

Keen on Pizza, Keen on Peaches

June 30, 2018 By Jonathan

Peach pizza, not to be confused with the turn-of-the-century, pineapple pizza, has become a regional special since its debut in 2010. Made famous by S&J’s WoodFired Pizza, this peachy concoction brings Atlanta’s freshest summer elements to a vibrant finish. While we have to agree with your first notion that peach pizza is not in traditional Neapolitan style, the Italians never had Georgia’s peaches to boast. The sweet acidity of our Pearson Farm Peaches, salty smoke of Pine Street Market’s bacon lardons, and subtle heat that The Blue Ridge Olive Oil Company provides make this pizza a local wood fired sensation.

From the Blue Ridge Georgia Mountains, hails a delightful, cayenne-infused finishing oil cultivated to its peak. The owners of The Blue Ridge Olive Oil Company, Donna and Tom, have been operating outside of Blue Ridge, Georgia for eight years. Their signature exclusive, cayenne infused chili oil packs twelve pounds of ripe cayenne chilies for each gallon of pure organic extra virgin local olive oil. Alongside Pine Street Market’s, humanely raised, thoughtfully sourced applewood smoked bacon, this marriage of flavors lays the perfect canvas for our fresh Georgia peaches.

Every year the atmosphere grows tense as Georgia’s peach season approaches. As a symbol of Georgia, this beautiful stone fruit has come to represent the wealth of flavor in our agricultural community. Pearson Farm has farmed the red clay of Crawford County for five generations. Building off of theexperience of each generation, the Pearson family has gained a reputation for growing some of the sweetest peaches in the country. We savor these summer treasures and pay homage to the peach for its short but sweet season the only way we know how- on pizza!

Visit us at any of our local markets and mention this blog post for $2 off our seasonal, Peach Pizza, all summer!
